Relaxing, anticipating, loosening
There is a colleague with whom I had some difficulty with. He has asked me to be on a committee at a time that was inconvenient for me. Yesterday I gathered up my courage and asked him whether the meeting time can be changed, and it worked! As I began this program, thought I no longer have a boundary issue. That turned out not to be so, and I am happy to be able to apply what I learn here to my life circumstances 😊
As I wrote, I was drawn into the recent experience of taking refuge in my integrity knowing that it might be the only thing I had left when the situation was ended. The feeling of strength from holding that boundary returned as I wrote. The sense of peace and safety in the midst of a difficult situation.

How brave of you, Eunsoo, and what a good outcome!
We never outgrow the need to respect boundaries. It’s ongoing, a part of being present.
Disquieted. Reflective. Stillness

Well done, Emma. Value your integrity and you can draw strength and protection from it. 🥰
